Breakfast and fireworks
A few of the newcomers arrived ready to party. Whatever Flips Your Pancakes stars an elephant in a chef's hat, trunk curled around a spatula, flipping a golden stack with total focus. Whatever Launches Your Fireworks bursts into every color at once over a glittering city skyline. Whatever Steams Your Coffee frames a steaming cup in autumn leaves and coffee beans, and Whatever Melts Your Chocolate sets a glossy chocolate heart in a nest of ripe strawberries. Somebody in the design room was clearly hungry, and we are grateful.
Sun, surf and a very relaxed turkey
Whatever Hangs Your Ten sends a surfer carving across a big curling wave with the sun glowing behind him. Whatever Aloha's Your Christmas tucks a palm-tree island inside a wreath of red hibiscus and orange blossoms, proof that the holidays can happen in flip-flops. Whatever Stuffs Your Turkey shows a turkey in a straw hat and sunglasses, lounging among the fall leaves like he has made other plans for November. Whatever Curls Your Toes gives us a bug-eyed green frog crouched and ready to leap, which is about how it feels to find a brand-new favorite.
New characters with old souls
Whatever Ruffles Your Feathers sends a rainbow bird soaring in full color. Whatever Lights Your Rudolph brings a grinning reindeer with his nose lit up bright red. Whatever Shorts Your Circuit wires a flaming heart to a tangle of cords, and Whatever Shimmers Your Snow wraps a little cottage in a sky of snowflakes. Whatever Jolly's Your Follies introduces a Santa who has been hitting the gym, arms crossed, very pleased with himself.
For the woman who likes to be first
She found the new brunch place before it had a sign. She knew the song before it was on the radio. She will absolutely tell you she had this before it was cool. Picture her showing up with a design nobody else has seen yet and fielding the question she loves most: "Where did you get that?" Let her keep the secret for a week. Then let the pancake elephant go public.
